Catholic marriage outside of church?

Hey everyone! So a little background, I am catholic and my FH is lutheran. We are getting married via a catholic ceremony in Lake Geneva, WI in 2019. I'm hoping someone else is in this situation--is there any way we can have a catholic ceremony outside of the church (i.e. in a garden)? Thanks!

    I would like to hear more, too! I am thinking about doing the same thing. I'm curious what the small Catholic ceremony was like (was it a 'convalidation'? Did you have to pay to rent the church? I have lots of questions!) and also whether you were able to still have Catholic elements in the outdoor ceremony.
