Hi! Does anyone know if a Catholic priest can officiate an outdoor wedding? Also, any recommendations on who to contact in the Hudson Valley area would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    I think, like in Eastern Orthodox churches, wedding have to be held on consecrated grounds.

    Thanks for sharing this story! I'm in the same predicament... did the priest "re-marry" them for their outdoor ceremony? Did they exchange rings and vows again? I would love to find a priest that would marry us in a church and then again outdoors on the following day for the whole wedding party. Can I have his contact info??
