Kane is the only one I would ever do that because he's one of my favorite artists and his song is out first dance. Other than that, I wouldn't have ever done it.

My husband wanted to invite a star to our wedding (I can't even recall who it was)... He didn't, I'm kinda glad. LOL... I think it would be great if you got your wish.

We contemplated inviting the Phanatic to our wedding, but we didn't think the Phillies would have sent him to NYC.

As for celebrities... we're theatre actors. I wouldn't say our friends are famous, *yet*, but some of them are getting to be quite known in the industry.

I did this! I got a cute card in the mail saying congratulations on your wedding and a bunch of characters signed it, lol. We didn't get the card though until a couple of months after the wedding, which is fine, but just FYI!

My FH and I are inviting a handful of parasocials we felt played a big role in our relationship developing. We don't expect anything, even if the ceremony will have a virtual component for them to participate in. We simply want them to know how valuable they were to this marriage happening. No strings attached.

..Although I will say, there's a certain politician we are inviting and if he surprises us, I might have to calm my mother down a bit because she's not exactly a fan The odds are astronomical though.
