Cell Phone Privacy In a Marriage

My now husband and I have shared our cell phone passcodes since we started dating 7 years ago. We trust each other and have nothing to hide so we figured why not. I might randomly pick up his phone to play a silly game that I refuse to download on my phone. And he might pick up my phone to send...
My now husband and I have shared our cell phone passcodes since we started dating 7 years ago. We trust each other and have nothing to hide so we figured why not. I might randomly pick up his phone to play a silly game that I refuse to download on my phone. And he might pick up my phone to send himself pictures that we recently took. Either way it doesn't bother us.

What are your thoughts? Should married people have each other's cell phone passcode?

I'm definitely going to talk to my husband about us sharing the same passcode.

We both have our fingerprints on each others phones! It is just natural for us, as we text for each other and use whatever phone is closest to take pictures! However, we don't snoop through each others phones. In the beginning, I looked a few times, as did he, but we trust each other and feel no need to anymore!

We have each other's password, but we would never use the other person's phone without permission out of respect for the other person's privacy.

I think it depends on the marriage, but my FH and I know each other's passcodes and have no problem with using each other's phones.

I can relate to it just feeling natural to share passcodes with your partner.

I agree. While we have each other's passcodes we are also careful not to violate each other's privacy.

Our finger prints are both in each other's phones but we don't go snooping because we don't feel the need to. we do answer each others phones/ texts if the other is driving or in the other room though. I don't think either of us thinks anything of it. We have a new rule that he doesn't ;ook at my camera roll until after the wedding because pictures of my dress are everywhere. I'm always screenshotting it to show someone because I have so many photos haha

They are too disruptive. Trying to sleep, drive, watch tv, movie, eat dinner, work, relax, etc and the phone rings. Most of the time someone wants something. Ask for a favor, sell something, tell you a bad story.
Today's phones are great for everything else put the actual phone. I don't need to be reached 24/7. It only adds to my anxiety.

I mean I'll give it to anyone that wants to use my phone. Nothing private to hide, you need my finger print to get into all the important stuff (banking, amazon, ect.) I only have a password cause my phone makes me have it secure for my banking ap.
