Center Piece- Combination of real and artificial flowers

Danielle, on April 5, 2021 at 7:43 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 4
Has anyone used both artificial and real flowers in their center pieces? I am thinking of using fake greenery, with real flowers to cut cost. If you have, does it look good or cheap?

I was planning on doing this as well. I’m cutting cost with loads of fake eucalyptus that look really close to the real thing! A mix of real florals on some tables and in my bouquet. I think it’s totally worth it. I don’t really think you can go wrong. I say go for it!

I'm planning to do faux flowers entirely, but from what I've seen you might be better off doing the opposite - fake flowers, real greenery. Only because there are some really nice, quality fake flowers out there, whereas good fake greenery is hard to come by.

There are vastly differing qualities of artificial flowers ranging from the more cheaply made to those you wouldn’t even think were fake, so it is hard to say how your idea would look.

In saying this, if you are planning to use fakes for your centrepiece, given it will be right in front of guests, if you want to conceal the flowers as being fake, you may end up spending just as much money on fake flowers as you could have on real, particularly if you were only planning to use fake greenery which you can often find for a reasonable price depending on your selection.

Do you mind me asking where you got your eucalyptus at?
