Centerpiece doubling as aisle decor?

Mrs.ChanelNewNew, on March 7, 2014 at 8:36 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 11

Is anyone doing this? I was watching four weddings and one of the girls aisle decor was what I want to do for centerpieces. Tall cylindrical vases wrapped in bling with submerged flowers and LED lights. Now I'm thinking maybe I can line the aisle with them during the ceremony and move them to the reception tables for centerpieces and could probably save a chunk of money. Thoughts?

    I'm doing it!!

I'm having lanterns with candles lining the aisle, then for the reception, the staff will move the lanterns to the table!

Move em during the cocktail hour, as long as your guests aren't watching them set up it's totally fine

Happens all the time. Mrs. Chanel; I hope it's a separate location, not a desperate one, lolol! Damned auto correct!

Lmao Celia beat me to it!!

I've totally been considering this! Except it would be the chair sashes lol. I can't afford $100 in chair sashes. However, we're using 1 room for everything. That said, the restaurant has dividers, so if my grant comes through in time, I'm considering setting up a separate area as a "cocktail area". That way, I can reuse multiple items, and while people will notice, they won't be watching it happen.

Whatever floral creations I make for the chapel will be at the reception. Big and small flower arrangements are being repurposed somehow, not sure yet.

I am having flowers hanging from the chairs for aisle decor after the ceremony my florist will take them and cut the stems for our center pieces.

I'm doing this! Or rather, my florist is! I am having little vases with flowers in them hanging on the chairs for the aisle decor, and then my florist will take them after the ceremony and put them on the tables for our reception...very similar to Helen^^
