Centerpiece help

Elaina, on October 21, 2020 at 5:17 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 16
In 24 days out til our wedding. Freaking out about centerpieces, our table count has gone down drastically due to COVID but I still need to figure out centerpieces. I originally was going with a burgundy painted jar with a couple chrysanthemums, and some fall berries and the more I look at them the more I cannot stand them. I do have large jars with fairy lights to put in tables as well. So now I have moved on to a plain jar with some wheat sheave bundled with twine and now those look super empty and I do not know what to do 🥴 I am going to be printing photos of just my fiancé and I to set on tables, maybe.. anyone have any photos of simple fall centerpieces, or advice? I am trying to keep it simple as possible.

Do you have any pictures of what you were thinking? Actually, I think the burgundy painted jars and chrysanthemums sound lovely. I'm envisioning wine bottles painted burgundy with a few flowers in them (chrysanthemums are such pretty flowers) -- and the fairy lights in those bottles. You could also place a few votives around the bottle. Just a thought (from someone who isn't that creative). Smiley smile

What about a hybrid of the two?? I like the set up of the second one, but it needs some color. So how about this the set up of #2 with the painted burgundy jar (without the gold words) and berries from #1 -- and perhaps a scattering of the leaves on or around the log round?

You're very welcome. If it's too much, leave the gold painting on, but see what it looks like with the other modifications. At this point, don't sweat the small stuff.

Fingers crossed! I'll be interested to see (or read) how it turns out. Good luck!! Smiley smile

Here’s what I’ve done so far, going to get the rest of the things I need and get back to it! I think the leaves are a better choice then paint at this point, I had a horrible time trying to paint those other jars. Centerpiece help 4

That looks really good! Adding the leaves was a good touch - that is a beautifully simplistic centerpiece and will look great on the log rounds!

I love them! It's super hard not to over think when doing you own. I have changed my mind many times. I finally figured out the main part. Just have to work on the rest. We have a year so I am not sweating it right now. It will come to me!
