Centerpiece mock up- Will a florist do this?

Erin Wood, on September 14, 2016 at 4:21 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 8

I see a lot of DIY brides post mock ups of the centerpieces. Will a florist do a mock up? I could try to do one myself but it most likely will not look like what the florist can do.

Mine did. I thought it was a standard practice.

Some do, some don't. I've heard of florists that charge a little percentage though that typically goes to the final bill.

As OG Jaci said, you could always ask the florist.....

I will definitely ask her. I just didn't want to sound silly for asking if that's not even a thing. Thank you ladies!

My florist did a mock-up of 1 tall and 1 low centerpiece for me, but I paid full price for those 2 arrangements!

ETA: You won't sound silly for asking! I just told my florist "i'd really love to see a floral mock-up before you place the final flower order, is this something you can do? If so what would this entail?"

Mine does sample appointments, but the contract doesn't mention anything about a charge so I guess I'll find out about that when I schedule it

I know mine does it for free if you are spending over a certain dollar amount. I would imagine she still does it for a small fee if you are under. Definitely a reasonable request!

You could page @Centerpiece; she may be able to offer some insight.
