Centerpiece Question

I am wondering if this looks okay? This is the type of centerpiece I am going for but the book is making me feel iffy. Do I leave the book as is or should I paint it white? I will be having flowers in the mason jars (white tulips, baby breaths, and eucalyptus) so that will be inside. And what do you think about the arrangement of the leaves and paper flowers?

    Instead of painting, maybe a white book cover. I hate seeing books get defaced.

    Looks good! Leave the book as is. Is a nice contrast and will give the eye a break amidst all the white/light color. Also the paper flowers are a great tie in.

    I like it. If you really want to change the color of the book I would do a cover rather than paint it.
