Centerpieces - Average Price?

Usernamerequiredhere, on August 17, 2017 at 6:47 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 12

Hey all,

How much were yours per table, OR what's the average range you were quoted?

I understand that it may vary by options but I'm looking for both "professional" or DIY.

I was just calculating mine and I got $31 per table for each centerpiece set that I DIYed (lantern, table number, flowers, base and bottle) and I'm not sure if that's too much or just about average.

Almost 4.5 years ago mine were half the tables $85 and half $135. Professionally done.

Every time I try to DIY stuff it takes twice as long and costs twice as much as I thought (and doesn't end up looking how I wanted it to).

I am diy-ing half and florist is doing half. Florist charges $50 each (which I think is a steal) for this inspo pic. The other half will be baskets of apples, the baskets were each $10 or less and I am borrowing most from mom and FMIL so only had to buy a few. With any other little things on tables my estimate is about $60/table when florist does them, about $25/table that I diy.

This is my inspiration pic. My florist quoted me $35 per table. I thought it was too much but from what I'm reading here I guess it's not.

We're doing half tall and half short floral centerpieces with silver votives. Tall centerpieces are $185 and short are $100.

ETA: Removed picture because it kept turning sideways.

I am spending about $10 for each table for decor.

I am also whole sale-ing roses and getting liquor bottles from friends, family and local bars to use as vases so those will be *free*.

I also got extremely lucky and was able to find about 150 votives at a consignment shop for about $20 total

Each table will have three bottles with a mix of greenery and majolica spray roses and other filler flowers. $18/table through a well rated florist here.

I am helping my daughter plan her wedding (she is a busy college student!) We learned we can RENT our centerpieces for about 1/5 of the price to purchase! Ask your florist if they will rent your centerpieces! Our florist does a lot of conventions/larger events so they will reuse our flowers after our wedding. I DO know you can get bulk flowers from Sams Club for a LOT less than buying from a florist...I hope this helps someone :o)
