Centerpieces for Rectangle Shaped Tables?

on February 12, 2019 at 3:25 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 5
Hi all!

FH loves golf and has asked to incorporate some kind of golf element into our centerpieces. We’re having a springtime brunch reception and also want to incorporate elements of that into decor.

We we were thinking of doing something inspired by these, and alternating tables (some with golf some with coffee beans)

The only thing is, our venue has rectangle tables. They aren’t super long (fit 4 chairs on each size). But I’m worried that a round centerpiece would look funky? We also want to incorporate garland table runners.

What do you all think? Any suggestions? Should we look for more boxy containers?

We wouldnt include the flag on the golf one.

I think those centerpieces are really cute, and I think that they would look fine on a rectangular table. However, if you want to elongate your table decor you could consider putting smaller items on either side of the centerpieces a little further down the table: candles, dishes of candy / munchies, dishes of butter and jelly (since it is a brunch wedding), smaller flower arrangements, lanterns, etc.

I love those ideas u have too .... having something on either side would make the tables feel more full which wouldnt be a bad thing for rectangle tables

I think the round centerpiece would be fine on the long tables, maybe just do 2 of them. I am confused however where the coffee beans come into play?

We were thinking of alternating what the bowls are filled with being coffee beans (brunch theme) and golf balls (for FH) or choosing one or the other.
