Centerpieces? Help!

Stephanie, on March 17, 2022 at 7:13 PM Posted in Style and Décor 1 9
So I have almost everything done except for the centerpieces and arch! I hate the idea of buying stuff I won’t use again and I have real flowers for bouquets and my sweetheart table but since I made the huge mistake of getting married on Mother’s Day weekend that already cost $$$$… does anyone know of reasonable prices for rental places? Lol

You can rent nice silk ones from Something Borrowed Blooms or get DIY ones from Ling's Moment.

I’m not sure of rental places for flowers but you could always sell whatever you don’t use. All of my flowers will be fake/wood flowers and the fake ones I’ll just be selling

I've seen a lot of positive reviews for Something Borrowed Blooms. Or A lot of people on here have talked about how wedding flower collections from Sam's Club or Costco that you DIY the day or two before are very affordable.

Have you checked out wedding resale pages on FB or consignment shops? You might be surprised with what you can find there.

Have you tried Facebook Marketplace yet? Or look for a wedding resale group in your area!!! You might find some good stuff there.

Yes purchasing is expensive in the long run and it fills up your house, plus you don’t get anything back for the time you spend on DIY, including picking up and selling/transportation. . Go on Google and do a local search for rental companies. Be sure to read reviews on each. There is no ideal range of prices because every town and business charges differently.

I have tried FB marketplace but I wasn’t crazy about anything I seen. I contacted a few places for rentals and honestly while the average price for tables alone was around $150 per table I just purchased beautiful Crystal pieces myself that I can resell and get some of my $$ back. I felt that was the smarter route considering I spent less to own than to rent and I covered everything, not just the tables. Thank you everyone for your suggestions!

Sound logic! The resale market for wedding decor is outstanding so that was the smarter route. I also noticed a lot of people “renting” pieces for the same price they paid for the items, which is a bit much.

Definitely sounds like that's the smarter option! Glad you found something that works for you. Smiley laugh
