Centerpieces with hanging crystals

Lori, on October 19, 2010 at 2:06 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 9

I am having a destination wedding and some of the things I like I am unable to get. I need 4 centerpieces for an outdoor chic wedding on top of a fortress. I have struggled for months now with centerpiece ideas that can incorporate Candles (that wont blow out) or some type of lighting, Flowers and crystals. Colors are Black, Sliver and hot pink. Does anyone know how I can make the centerpieces that have a vase with hanging crystals? I seen candle bras but they probably would not be large enough for the kind of vase needed. Also dont want the vase too tall as it could blow over. Any ideas on how to do this and were to get the materials

I know these do not have a vase but maybe something like metal tree stands? Is the vase for flowers? How about using LED tealights or LED votives instead of candles.

I'm having just about the same issue! Candelabras would work for me but they are all either cheesy or way too expensive. Wish I had an answer for you but since I don't I'll just *Bump* you Smiley smile

A fortress in the VI is probably spanish-y, I'm guessing. Heavy wrought iron candelabras would certainyl match, but rent. Here are some rental companies in the Dominican Republic

as for center pieces/ vase and sand/marbles work great to hold tree in place from wind etc

Or a single one for $6.12 ... as you can see the candle is inside a glass vase... or as some others have suggested, use LED... u can put something heavy to hold the bottom down and cover it with a runner/cloth/etc
