Centerpieces with no flowers?

I'm doing a mirror tile with a marble wine chiller (with the champagne bottle for guests to pop themselves when it comes time for the toasts) and a light touch of greenery and tealight candles around the wine chiller.

A friend of mine and his wife are big readers so their centerpieces were stacks of books checked out from the local library!

we are doing a Lord of the rings theme

we are skipping flowers. Instead we’re having origami made from book pages

I'm doing fake flowers but I got some nice ones 50% off at Hobby Lobby and some 80% off at Michaels so they weren't expensive. I am using these lanters and then I am putting some fake moss in them and a candle and then I got some fake grape wreath thing that is in a circle that I'm placing the lantern in and then I'm going to put flowers on that but you could do it without and it will be pretty! I am also going to be doing some gold mercury glass mixed throught. It looks good in my head so we will see with execution lol
