Centerpieces with sticks

Ashley, on January 20, 2018 at 12:57 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 8
I was wondering if anyone has done centerpieces like this before? I tried doing them with the hanging globes and the globes are too heavy and rip the other sticks away from the hot glue. Any ideas? Help!

I have been to wesdings where there are sticks with strings if beads hanging from them, looked impressive. I found a few examples similar to what I have seen to show you .

Maybe putting the sticks in something, like a vase will help keep them together?

I have been looking at things like this for centerpieces, I think they're super cute and different!! I actually want like 2-4 different centerpieces. I like the sticks, sticks in a vase, the wooden slab with candles on top

Have you considered looking at these? I remember there was a BAM in the last two months or so that had centerpieces similar to the ones you like. I remember her saying these were the branches she used.

    I hope it helps!

Your guests are going to hate these centerpieces because most of them block sight lines. People like to be able to see all the other people at the table when talking with them.

Good thing the wedding is about the bride and groom and not the guests. God forbid a couple ever do anything to displease a guest.

OP were you trying to use the glass globes or the plastic ones? Maybe you can try taller vases with more filler, then use slightly shorter/more stout branches. That way they have the illusion of being tall, but are sturdy enough to hold the weight.

I’m planning on making similar centerpieces, only using manzanita branches that are thicker. Try tying the strings instead of glue (clear fishing wire maybe?).

I think that would be beautiful, yeah, tie the string to the tree, I'm sure, whatever you do, it's going to be awesome
