Honestly I would have selected an off white/ivory color just so it stands out against the white table cloth. Don’t over think it 😊

I don't think so because you'll have greenery so if you do it around the lantern it'll still make a focal point

I wouldn't be worried about this at all!

The greenery will be between the tablecloth and lantern so they won’t be against one another. Even if they were, they wouldn't clash!

Do you have a picture of the lanterns? I’d love to see them! What will be inside them?

I think it may work out better than white on white, I’m sure it will look perfect 👌🏻

You could also put something between tablecloth and lantern (charger, mirror, burlap, cloth).
