Centerpieces!

Samantha, on May 1, 2019 at 3:49 PM Posted in Style and Décor 1 35
What is everyone doing for centerpieces? Looking for ideas/suggestions to get the creative juices flowing! We are getting married in December and our colors are Cabernet/dark green! Our venue will be decorated for the holidays with a large Christmas tree, garland etc

We are getting married in June at a garden venue. Our centerpieces are metal watering cans with greenery, ivory and champagne flowers.

I got married in December and used garlands and candles of varying heights as my centerpieces. I used the same garlands to drape over the pews for the ceremony so got more "bang for the buck" with them.

I’m getting married in August so my colors/theme are very different from yours, but we’re just using simple and candles and petals. Here’s a picture of my mock-up with the candles we’ll use, but the actual centerpieces will use the petals and faux eucalyptus leaves in the next two pictures.

Same here! We're using this as our inspiration for centerpieces. Ours will have birch rounds, candles and votives, berry garland, and plaid table squares. I also made 3D table numbers with donation cards.

Each centerpiece costs ~$25 each with the most expensive piece being the birch rounds. Check out the Dollar Tree and Amazon for cheaper options. We got the rounds from Michaels using coupons.

We are doing origami centerpieces that will double as gifts to the wedding party and family. The artist is a friend of my MIL, who runs the foremost origami organization in America, so we got very lucky! However, there are a lot of really beautiful paper flowers on Etsy if you want to go that route. (The pink peonies in our centerpiece came from an Etsy seller.)

Thank you. We weren't fans of wedding favors and would much rather spend that money on charities that mean something to us as couple.

We have space on our registry to donate to a charity that’s close to my heart, but so far no one has bit. Smiley sad We are expecting quite a bit of cash since our parents’ friends can’t figure out how to use the registry and I will make sure we set some aside.

We'll have paper Moravian star lanterns, fairy lights, and a simple floral arrangement on each table. I wish I had a mockup to share, but we're waiting for our vases to come in.

I painted over 30 birdhouses for centerpieces, added fake flowers and I'm pairing it with a vase (all different shapes) and a table number (handed drawn and painted) on a hemp wrapped dowel.
