Centerpieces

What will you be doing with your centerpieces after the wedding? I am considering doing a giveaway of mine as they are Christmas themed. These types of garland are often expensive in stores and i think it might be something people would want to take with them. I’m not sure if that would really fly or make sense though. If you were a guest would you be interested in something like that? We plan on keeping 3 for Christmas decorating purposes in years to come.

I was planning on keeping at least the terrariums from ours but we let people take a few and flowers if they wanted. I just had to be sure I got to keep a couple sets of the terrariums!

I would just tell your closest friends or family to grab one on the way out. We’re keeping one of ours for decoration at home and selling the rest.

I probably wouldn't take one so "winning it" would be kind of weird. Especially if we were drinking or staying in a hotel, we would probably forget it.

I love Christmas so I’d be happy if I were given one at a wedding I attended and I’ll display it every year.

We are personally planning to resell our centerpieces so I hope no one tries to take them. I’m sooooo sure that some will come up missing though.

We're doing a whole lot of upcycling with tin cans for ours. So they may hit the recycling bin. We will also have bird seed in them, so we will feed some birds.

I'm reselling everything: centerpieces, cake stand, cake topper, accessories, you name it!

I would for sure take one if I won it!

Garland IS expensive and yours is beautiful. I would display it proudly and think of you fondly every time I decorated for Christmas.

Another option... Can you carefully take them apart and create Christmas wreaths from the various greenery, beads, etc. and give them to a few special people after the wedding? I wouldn't necessarily know how to display something like this (if we had a mantle, that would be perfect, but alas!), but a wreath is pretty self explanatory. Smiley smile

I'm doing sola wood flowers for my bouquets and decor, and I'll be taking my centerpieces apart and reusing the flowers for cute spring/summer wreaths for my mom, my FMIL, my aunt who's throwing my shower, my MOH and I'm sure someone else will prove indispensable. I'll include a nice note with them. My mom teared up when I told her about the idea, so I think it's a winner. And 'door decor' is big the Midwest.

I'll be reselling most all the decorations and centerpieces from our wedding except I'll probably keep some of the signs. Your garland is really pretty and would be nice to use for Christmas! I'd probably just tell your VIPs they could take them.

I am reselling much of the decor I don't plan to use as decor in my own house. But you could just tell your bridesmaids, family, and closest friends to take one on their way out if they want! I would honestly take the garland. The more christmas decorations the better!
