Ceremonial procession no wedding party

Natalie, on July 21, 2021 at 6:55 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 6
So I have no bridesmaids no maid of honor and no best man no groomsmen. For the ceremony before I walk down the aisle who should walk down instead if anything?

I have a very small bridal party, I struggled with the same thing. My fiancé is going to be walking my mother into the ceremony and then his parents to follow. Then our wedding party! I like the idea of including your family members because it shows how you got to where you are! I went to a wedding that had all the way up to great grandparents walking in before the bride came out! Whatever you decide to do will be beautiful & special! ❤️

I too do not have a bridal party. I'm having his parents walk down the aisle, then my mom and sister. Groom said he does not want to walk down the aisle, but I think he will just won't be "official". I will then walk down the aisle with my dad, hand my bouquet to him during the ceremony and he will hand it back to me before we walk back up the aisle. I'm struggling with what song should be played for his parents and my mom and sister. I really want a part of Cannon D to be played, but I also want a violin solo of Can't Help Falling in Love. Cannon D feels "too bridal" for the parents and sister, but Can't Help Falling in Love doesn't feel right for parents and sister either. If you could help with that let me know!

We're not having a bridal party either, but our children will be involved in the wedding. His 12 year old daughter will be our "flower child" with a flower crown and petals... my 5 and 8 year olds will be carrying signs that say " Are you ready Micah" and "Here comes our mommy".

I think if u ask the violinist to remix something into a slower tune that would be good too. Anything ed sheeran or sam smith romantic are good choices. Cant help falling in love i was thinking of using it for my own walk down but may go with Lana del rey young and beautiful for the entire walk down. I also considered Bridgetton’s “Stranger” tune to walk down to. If you get a chance check it out its very romantic id say if played with violin and piano

We have decided adults only for both reception and ceremony. And we both dont have children so children wont be involved. Might have his adult brother carry down the rings and just not have a “flower person”

You can do whatever you'd like!

I had no bridesmaids and our parents didn't want to process, so my husband walked down first, followed by his groomsmen, followed by me on my own. We had no flower girl, and our dog was our ring bearer for our aisle-less Covid elopement that had happened previously.
