Ceremony and reception in coffee shop

Have you checked with the cafe to be sure that would be possible? They would close to general public that day? If you were to do so, it should be during non-meal times like 2:00-4:00.

I think it could be good. It may be more fit where almost all the guests aren't having to travel far. So, as long as this fits your goals of budget and atmosphere, it would be fine. Not everyone is trying to have a formal sit-down dinner reception. The goals are to do a ceremony and have some time with the guests to celebrate this moment and meet the married couple.

As a huge coffee fan, I think this sounds super fun! I would be ecstatic to go to a wedding where they paid for my lattes! 😆☕️

Personally not fond of this idea. I would personally refer a restaurant (especially if this would take place during a meal time)

Like everyone else said, just plan around a meal time and also make it clear on the invites so guests don’t come expecting a full meal.
If all that’s in place I LOVE IT! How fun!
