Trisha, on March 5, 2020 at 8:21 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 1 11

Hey Yall! So Lately Ive been Looking Into Ceremony Arch Rentals And I Cant Believe How Expensive They Are. Over $300! So Im Looking For Some Alternatives To An Arch. Im Not Opposed To Making My Own But The Problem Would Be Having A Car Big Enough To Transport It. Ill Attach A Picture Of My Ceremony Venue To Give An Idea. TIA!

You can buy these decorate with inexpensive flowers and sell it on eBay or Facebook market place .... you may even be alone to find one for cheap on Facebook market place

Look into pillars instead? They may be cheaper to rent and look just as pretty.

Honestly...looking at that venue, I think it would look better with nothing at all! The lake adds enough beauty on its own and the arches just kind of hide that. But if you do want to put something up there, I’d suggest doing the pillars like pp said. They always look beautiful.

I would check out Facebook Market or a Buy, Sell, Trade group! I've found a ton of arches for less than $100.

I think it would be ok even if you didn’t have an arch just because the venue is nice as is

Personally I'm trying to get something like this, but it might be more expensive than an arch. I've yet to find out...

Beautiful venue. I was having the same problem. Finally found a moon gate rental for $75 on Facebook. I would try there if you already haven't

The pedestals might be able to be moved to your table so can be used for both perhaps.

I got my arch in a box from Joann Fabrics for $20 lol and spent another $15 (if that) on tulle to put around it with zip ties and fake flowers that we already bought for the reception. Keep it disassembled until you go in to set up and then put it together. Unfortunately I have to assemble mine the night before because I'm having a beach ceremony and sending my MOH and Best Man to set it up a half hour before.

I'm not sure what your theme is, but a whimsical idea might be a simple, rugged arch made out of three pieces of unfinished wood joined together. Then tie dried flowers to it in bunches hanging upside down. It will give a cabin in the mountains feel without a lot of money or effort.
