Ceremony Location

Kelsey, on January 26, 2021 at 6:34 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 8

Anyone know of a location for a ceremony in Orange County, CA on a cliff? My venue cancelled on me last week and I am looking for a new spot. I am worried about going through a hotel or resort because they might cancel as well. Any advice will be helpful. Thanks.

I’d second the PP recommendation. Maybe also look on wedding spot and air b n b (though they have restrictions on guests).

Depending on your vision & his many people- do you have any relatives where you can do a backyard wedding at their home?

So, we are actually planning the reception in my fiancé parents’ backyard, but I want to try to still have my ceremony on the cliff. We are basically going to try to do a live stream back to the reception location of the ceremony and only have the bridal party, parents and grandparents. So, we are keeping the ceremony number way down.

There are some coastal cliffs in the Laguna Beach area.

If you're willing to settle for a hill with a city view, I'd check out Orange County Mining Co or Orange Hill restaurants

These are good suggestions. If it's just a very small group, I'd call the City of Laguna Beach and ask if you can reserve the small gazebo on the cliffs at Heisler Park, just down the street from the Art Museum and Las Brisas. There are also a couple of different parks up above the wooden beachwalk in San Clemente -- again, I'd start by calling the city. For more "commercial" properties, you might call Casa Romantica in San Clemente and see if they will book just a ceremony on one of their patios or there are a couple restaurants in Dana Point with cliff-side patios. Also, maybe the Blue Lantern Inn? Good luck!
