Ceremony Post-Kiss Song?

simplyluck, on May 15, 2009 at 5:53 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 9

I want to find a find song that can be played after our kiss as we are leaving that will show our excitement and our fun personalities! Since our ceremony and reception are in the same location I think this will also let everyone know that it's now Party Time! Do you have any suggestions?????

(we're fans of standards, classic & alt. rock, counrty, and pop)

For our "walk back up the isle" song we are using taylor swifts "love story" just mostly just the violin part that comes after the last major chorus.

what do you think about that?

What about Best of My Love? It's upbeat and a good 70's hit. Don't remember who sings it though.

We just did one tonight that used "SIgned, Sealed, Delivered" by Steview Wonder. It was really cute! Smiley smile

I also like "Ever Ever After" by Carrie Underwood.

We ended up choosing "Gotta be Somebody" by nickle back, But a few of my other favorites were:

I feel good - James Brown

    Beautiful Day - U2

(you make me wanna) Shout - Little Richard

    When I'm 64 - Beatles

    hope those help Smiley smile

I used, "This will be an everlasting love". I think it worked well.

We are actually using "A little less Conversation" by Elvis its really upbeat and fun. And if you listen to the lyrics "A little less conversation a little more action...." Says it all!!

My daughter is doing a mix for us. It starts out like the traditional wedding march, has a record scratch and goes into some other songs. It's really cute, and it ends with Elmer Fude saying "that's all folks". That could be an option. I love the idea when it is soooo hard to pick just one, just do a mix.
