I think they're a waste of money. I don't care about the guests as much. They should know how a wedding goes

I'm doing them because my readings are non-traditional. One of them, I looked up because I remembered it was really cute from a past wedding and if I didn't save the program from that wedding, I wouldn't have been able to include it in my own. I also want it as a keepsake for afterwards, and I know at least my parents save things like that.

Not necessary. All the programs I've seen have been promptly thrown away, so it's just a waste of money and paper, in my experience.

Not necessary unless you're having a very long religious ceremony.

Not necessary. They get tossed away and it’s just a waste of money and paper. We’re making a pallet that has the schedule of events and will be introducing each of the bridesmaids and groomsmen after photos.

I’ve only been to 2 weddings with programs. I think they are a waste of money and paper, to be honest.

Ours is multi cultural but we aren’t doing programs because most of the guests are bilingual. The traditions that are not shared by all will be explained via word of mouth. I’m really into the environment so I can’t justify destroying trees for programs.

My 2nd wedding will be bilingual but not include programs. I’m the odd one out on that. 🤣

Not necessary!! I think they can follow along. now if you're having a really really big ceremony with all the bells and whistles then this is probably best for us, no!

Trash! I will not! I will write it on a picture frame or something but that’s wasted paper!

Not needed unless the ceremony is in a different language than the guests speak or if there is something non-traditional that needs explanation.

The reason I am doing a program is to familiarize my religion with the guests, it explains what is happening, what it means and what is going to happen next.tenor.gif

Only necessary if there is a dual purpose. . doubles as a fan for those hot days or to allow the guests to follow along if not a simple ceremony.
