Would you be lost without a program as a wedding guest? Or is it too difficult for you to justify the cost for something your guests will use for 30 minutes? 🤷 Ceremony Programs - Need to Have or Nice to Have? Might need to have, since we have non-Jewish guests.

Nice to have but not a need, ours will be short and sweet and then everyone knows how the reception works

Unless there’s information people will need to know and understand, then I think it’s nice to have if you can afford it but it’s not need to have. A lot of people generally have an idea that they sit there and stand up for the bride and then remain seated until after the ceremony. Most ceremony's follow a basic pattern like the welcoming and the vows and the unity ceremony. It just depends on what order you decide to do it with. If we absolutely needed one I would do a large board upon entering because it’s cheaper and people end up throwing those things away anyways so it’s a waste of money unless people really need to understand what’s going on!

Nice to have - again, possibly will combine it with save the date so less is wasted and all the information will be handy! We’re not planning on a long ceremony and will have an easy reception!

Need to have. We are having a baptist ceremony, and most of my family is catholic so it will be a different order than what they are used to. I think it is helpful for people to know what the flow of the ceremony will be. And it gives you a chance to be creative and do something unique.

It’s nice to have in order to know when the boring part of the wedding will be over, but definitely not necessary and is one place where we are cutting costs.

Nice to have. Just seems like an unnecessary expense to me. We all pretty much know the order of a standard wedding.

Nice to have... I haven't even heard of this! Smiley surprise Am I crazy? Maybe I've looked into too many intimate wedding ideas to have even come across this idea. But not necessary at all - This isn't a royal wedding.

Nice to have, if that. I feel like as long as it is a typical wedding, a program isn’t necessary. The WP will be announced when they come into the reception

Nice to have. We're not doing them, an expense we didn't want or need though.

Nice to have especially if you make it a double use item. . .aka fan. If you are having a ceremony with lots of parts it could be helpful to be able to follow along

    Need.

We're doing some different things, as well as having a skit later, so we want to properly credit our friends.

Can I say neither need nor nice to have. Strong believer it's a huge waste of paper for most guests. The only people who will keep them are parents, grandparents, and maybe aunts/uncles.
