Nice to have unless you're having an elaborate and long ceremony, or something religious where guests might not know what is happening.

Nice to have - We are planning on having them because we are going a non traditional ceremony that has a lot of Celtic traditions our guests may not understand so we will have little sections explaining each part and its significance to us.

A need if the ceremony is in a foreign language, or culture-specific, or really religious. Otherwise, I don't think it's necessary.

I’m skipping ceremony programs. It’ll be such a waste of money. I plan to either upload a “program” to our wedding website or I might make ONE acrylic sign for all to see. other than that, it’s a dud.

I say it depends on how long your ceremony is gonna be. Our ceremony is gonna take (maybe) 10ish minutes so we aren't having one

Need to have! Our ceremony will be a religious ceremony,I want our guest to stay in the know.
We plan to have our Four Ushers pass them out,as our guest comes into the Sanctuary to be seated.
