Ceremony is at 1 (I know the time stinks, but my priest wouldn't budge on timing because of his afternoon confession).

    Cocktail hour is at 4:00pm

    Reception is from 5:00pm-10:00pm

In between the ceremony and cocktail hour, my parents are hosting anyone that wants to come over for snacks and drinks so they have somewhere to hang out for the hour and a half-ish gap.

    Ceremony: 6pm

    Mingling time: Approx. 625-7pm

    Dinner: 7pm

We aren't having a cocktail hour since we have such a small gap.

Ceremony: 2:30-3 (half hour gap for travelling from ceremony site to reception which is 10 mins away)

Cocktail hour: 3:30-4:30 (so we have time to take pictures) our cocktail hour is also not a waited event so individuals will be able to grab what they want when they want, until it runs our basically.

Reception: 4:45-tba (our reception and cocktail hour are in the same place so people really aren't leaving) Dinner will be served around 5.

Our ceremony will start at 6:30pm. We're expecting it to be apx. 20 mins.

Cocktail hour will start immediately following the ceremony (same venue) so about 7pm.

We're doing a first look and plan to take 95% of our pictures before the ceremony, so I'm thinking our cocktail hour will really be more like 45 minutes before we usher guests into the ballroom and intro the bridal party. So, reception from 7:45ish-11pm, dinner served before 8pm. I reaaallly wanted our reception to go until 12 midnight but it would cost us over $1,500 and we just can't justify the cost of the extra hour.

I have been trying to figure out mine. We will possibly have the ceremony at 4. It will only be about 20 min if that. The ceremony is 3 small blocks away from the reception. We were not planning a cocktail hour just maybe letting people grab a drink when they first get in the venue and then when we get in start dinner. So dinner would maybe be 5. So then dinner would be like an hour or so and then dancing until midnight or later.

My ceremony is at 3:30, cocktails 4-5, dinner served at 5:30. It's not set in stone, as the caterer and DOC will be adjusting as needed, but, that's th e general timeline.

My timeline is identical to Joy S.'s above, although may have dinner more like 7:30/7:45. Also plan on pictures prior to the ceremony.

We were going to start our at 4:00 pm, but because our ceremony is long, we are moving it up to 2:00/3:00 pm
