Ceremony & Reception start time?

Ceremony at 6 cocktail hour from 645-745 diner to follow

Our ceremony is at 4:30, but I don't know about dinner and other things. I keep thinking that it's a tight timeline mainly because of pictures being taken. I've been told that those take longer then one would expect them to take, and give it about 10 - 15 mins per shot. Luckily I still have a lot of time to figure it out but I really should talk to my venue about timings.

Our ceremony was at 5:30, cocktail hour was from 5:45 - 6:45. dinner was at 7.

Ceremony is starts at 4 and will last 20-25 minutes. Our reception venue is right across from the ceremony so we will have guests move over there right after. I don't know if we are having cocktail hour, since we are taking all of our pictures before the ceremony. Probably will start the reception around 5-5:15 by the time we get guests in an situated.

Ceremony 5:30-6pm

cocktail hour 6-7pm

reception 7-11pm

Ceremony will start at 6:30, cocktail hour 7:00-8:00, dinner and dancing from 8:00-12:00 ?

What are everyone's thoughts about a 7:00 pm ceremony and then reception starting around 8:30 going until at least midnight?
