Is 5pm late for a ceremony? We will be getting married in June so i feel like at 5pm it wouldn't be so hot since it's outdoors in the summer but i also feel like the whole day is just already over by that time?!

No, it’s not too late! I’ve been thinking of starting ours at 5:30 this June. It will only be about 30 minutes (we’re non religious and don’t want to drag it out haha). I need to decide so I can get the invitations ordered!

Not late at all...we're doing a 6:30PM ceremony on a Friday in May. 7-8PM cocktail hour; 8-9PM dinner and 9-midnight dancing.

Im getting married in june, we originally planned on 5 PM start, but our caterer suggested starting at 4:30 PM, He said that half hour will really make all the difference!

That sounds about normal to me! Personally we had a 12pm wedding because I knew I didn’t want to spend too much time getting ready, and it was really nice to start so early and then get the majority of the day to spend with my husband and with our friends/families.

But that’s only if you’re considering an afternoon wedding. If you know you want an evening wedding then 5pm seems like a good time!

That time is PERFECT in June -- its hot as heck! You can even go later... 6-10 or 11pm
