Chair Covers/Sashes Prices

his_reesescup, on January 18, 2012 at 3:47 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 9

Hello (Future) Brides,

I've been seeing alot of posts about the price of chair covers for decorating....just curious about the prices you all have been quoted, if any?

I'm considering opting out of having them if the price is over the top!

LinenTableCloth.com has them (to buy, not rent) for as low as under $2 for the chair covers, and under $1 for the sashes. And for today, they are having a 20% off sale. That sale ends today, but you can usually pick up a discount code on their Twitter site.

We opted out of chair covers since they were too expensive ($3 something) so we are making satin chair sashes. Paid $1/yard for the fabric Smiley smile My FMIL is fantasticly creative! I'm not at all :/

I've got some orders in with the following:

    http://www.tableclothsfactory.com

    https://www.efavormart.com

    http://smartyhadaparty.com

Depending on what you are ordering - they are all within dollars of each other and if the order is large enough will either have a reduced freight rate or free.

They are included with our reception venue...they include tables, chairs, table linens, chair covers, and chair sashes, and centerpieces. Otherwise, I would NOT have paid for them!

If you want to make chair covers & sashes there's lots of great deals. I bought Velour from these guys

You can also often find sheets & shower curtains on clearance that you can very easily cut and hem into sashes or just a slip sock for the chair. Something like below.

Thanks for the ideas ladies....$3 a chair does sound a little pricey. I'll keep hope alive for other options Smiley winking

Wow, we are at this point too. Our venue includes linens and napkins, but the use of covers and sashes are extra. And of course, they have some the ugliest chairs I have ever seen so we do need covers. (really? gold and purple chairs?) Anyway, we have order sash samples to see if they will even match the cloths provided at the venue. If they do, we may end up buying instead of renting. I guess we could try to resell on EBay or something,

With the size of the chairs at our venue there are no chair covers that would fit. Which sucks because they are ugly. Instead we are renting black sashes to cover the backs. Found a lady who will rent, set up and take down for 0.50/sash. For us, that is less then $100.00. Great deal. Also saw chair cover rentals around our area for $2.00/chair
