Chair sashes are they worth it?

FutureMrs.Monasterski, on November 29, 2014 at 7:07 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 25

I look advantage of the sales at linentablecloths.com. I bought satin champagne table cloths for a great deal, napkins, and bought my lace over lay from a fabric store. The lace overlays was the major expense. I am torn on the chair sashes... Do others find them to be worth it? Do they make a big difference in the appearance?

I don't like chair sashes or covers. I think they look cluttered. Our venue has nice white resin chairs so I don't see the need for them anyway.

Our venue has ugly chairs so we are considering it, I do wonder how many people actually notice or if it's part of the whole ambience.

Our venue chairs are just plain white so we didn't even consider it. I understand some venues have ugly chairs but even so I personally don't think chair covers are too aesthetically pleasing either

We didn't use them. As a guest, I wouldn't notice, either.

I do't even like chair covers, and i hate sitting on them. I don't think most people notice the chairs....I had two weddings yesterday and i can't remember the chairs.....

We're doing this for the cost of some tulle and some whole sale baby's breath instead of the flower in the picture

Are you going to do all that yourself??? it's beautiful, but seriously time consuming.

We rented chivari chairs for our reception. DH balked at the price, but in the end we definitely noticed. The chairs provided by the hall were super ugly and blue.

No. I think they are ugly and a waste of money.

We upgraded to chivari chairs! I didn't like the ballrooms ones our venue came with. I don't like chair covers or sashes.

I'm not a fan of sashes or chair covers. I just don't like the way they look. Plus chair covers can be uncomfortable to sit on. Unless the chairs are supper ugly I would skip them no one will notice. The tulle is nice but will be very time consuming to do every chair.

I made chair sashes for the sweetheart table that will go with a homemade chair cover, the rest of the chairs will just be plain.

Ours come with our wedding package but our venue has ugly chairs so they are necessary. I personally have been to several weddings were they didn't have them and nobody noticed and the last thing I remember about any wedding was the chairs.

I would rent nice chairs, like chiavaris, rather than use covers / sashes. I personally think covers look outdated.

The tulle idea is really cute, if you plan on doing something like that though I would designate someone just for that because it looks time consuming.

We weren't going to do them, but then decided we wanted to add more color to the decor. If it's in the budget, this is what we are considering. Not sure if we will use all one color, or several colors.

We are upgrading to gold chavari chairs. They seriously make SUCH a difference. That was my one thing I absolutely wanted, I hate the way chair covers and sashes look. They honestly remind me of a 1998 prom. If your banquet chairs are hideous, check how much more it would be to upgrade chairs rather than buying chair linens.

We did sashes. They cam with our package (so did chair covers but I don't like the way they look so we opted out of those.). I really like how the sashes looked.
