Why not just choose chairs that will accommodate everybody across the board?
As a plus size lady I'd feel really hurt and singled out as a fatty because my chair was different.

I agree with this. I think it would look very bad for a table to have 7 "normal" chairs and one "plus sized" chair. It would really make people feel singled out.

Do you really want to go thru your guest list and try to figure out everyone's weights? Despite the fact that it's offensive, it's a waste of time.

You should still just get chairs that would accommodate everyone across the board even if it is a small wedding.

Thank you! that is my plan B, I was just wondering if anyone had some mix and match ideas, because I have seen it before.

I've actually seen people do mix and matching for their chairs and it looks nice but that was the aesthetic they went for rather than function.
I do agree with PPs though it's better to just get one single chair that's the same if that's your purpose.

If they are uncomfortable in the chairs on the day of, have some other chairs stored so they can be pulled out but don't just set them there for the other guests to think about. Just a thought. If it were me, i would be majorly embarrassed especially if it were just family.

I do not want to make anyone uncomfortable, I am just trying to avoid a fall because a chair could brake. I will probably consider stronger chairs for everyone

The problem is, how do you steer those two people toward the two stronger chairs? Most people will assume that a chair is designed to hold someone of any weight, so they likely wouldn't be looking for the stronger chairs. And telling them to sit there just risks humiliating them.
