    Nice to have. I think it is better for everyone to just toast with whatever drink they have. Especially if there is younger kids/teens and people that don't drink, they won't feel left out.

    Listen, I'm already cutting out plenty on my wedding day since my fiancé and I are paying for everything. But the last thing I am cutting out is a champagne toast. To me, I love champagne and it will be my drink of choice all day and night - so maybe that plays a role. I can get cutting it out if you hate the drink (I know so many people do) but for me, why would I? That also doesn't cost much it the grand scheme of things.

    Anyways, for me - It's a need to have.

    Need to have for us, but I know it's not for everyone. We're only having a couple of bottles though, most of the people we know are more into beer toasting

    I think this depends on your family type. If they like to drink sure, otherwise you might want to skip it. It's a nice to have.

    Nice to have. I love when there is some kind of sparkling wine at a wedding. We actually are swapping out champagne for prosecco at ours.
