Champagne Shoes with Ivory Dress

Michelle, on September 6, 2021 at 6:48 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4
I am looking for my shoes and all the ones I loves only come in champagne, but my dress is ivory. Will this look okay?

Chances are no one will see your shoes, the only time part of my shoe showed was during the garter removal .

If your dress is floor length, most people aren't going to see your shoes at all. If not, then I would see if I could get a color swatch from your dress to hold next to the shoes - it should be fine, but that (or getting shoes and holding them next to the dress) is really the only way to know if it will bother you.

If it was me I'd definitely look at them next to each other, because there's no set shade for ivory, champagne or even white. For example, my dress is ivory mikado and I bought ivory satin shoes and they looked SO yellow next to the dress. I exchanged them for white shoes, and they match really well.

Definitely will have to see it in person. I have a "white" dress, but when I ordered my corset back to sew in in white, my dress was definitely not the same white lol.
