Champagne Veil

tinkerpsu, on October 12, 2016 at 10:07 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9

Hi All! So, my Mom's veil isn't going to work and my dress is champagne and the white is too white and the ivory clashes. Anyone have any success with finding an inexpensive champagne veil? I tried etsy and had no luck!

Did you try David's bridal? I know they were having a sale.

If you're up for a DIY project, I dyed my veil with tea to match my dress.

I did! I looked at lots of tutorials online. In my particular case, it took much longer for the more synthetic fabric on my veil to take on the color so I had to use more tea and leave it in longer. From what I've read, other fabrics dye much more quickly so be cautious and check on the color of your veil frequently so it doesn't get too yellow.
