Change of venue

Are the cities close by? Do guests have to book lodging/plane tickets?

Are they nearby? I would just put the new venue on the invite and save yourself the money

You should definitely tell people the city is changing so they don’t make accommodations 1.5 hours from your venue.

With people having to book lodging I would play it safe and notify about the change of cities. If you have a wedding website you could post something there if you don't want to order new save the dates.

Yes, tell everyone that the city is changing. 1.5 hour drive difference is a lot
