So FH and I have had this conversation a few times and just simply don't agree..... He thinks its extremely tacky for women to change there shoes during the reception. He thinks they should remain in there shoes the whole night... I tried to explain that after the walking around the golf course for pictures and walking around for the ceremony... there feet are going to be exhausted..... Am I right? or do my ladies need to keep there shoe's on... I fully intended on getting each of them a pair of flip flop to change into... there dresses are long you wont even notice...

So, I'm wearing pretty heels to the ceremony and putting my boots on at the reception....talk about a footwear change! Smiley smile

BUT, in all honesty, the boots have a special meaning to us...lol

I know i am for sure changing my shoes, and if i were requiring my bm to wear heels i would probably have a change of shoes for them too. my fh bought me my dream heels for the wedding, but has no problem knowing that i will be switching to a pair of navy blue flats for the reception so i can dance. i will probably leave the heels on until after the garter removal, though, for picture sake Smiley smile tell him to try walking around in heels for a whole day and see if he wants a change of shoes lol

Well Since I have to wear flats for the wedding me and the entire bridal party are just going to wear a new fresh pair of converses the whole night This will make for some fun pictures and will be comfy for the reception.

    .

If you insist on wearing heels, I would say go with some low heels and/or break them in by wearing them around the house. This way they aren't as stiff while you're wearing them on the wedding day.

I know that me and my bm's will be changing our shoes. I have already saw the perfect sandles for everyone to wear and they will be dressy

I had flat shoes even for the ceremony. And we had a basket of "dancing shoes" (flip flops and Chinese cotton Mary Janes) for all our guests at the reception.

You can tell your FH from me that he should consider himself lucky you are willing to wear heels even for the ceremony!
