Changing the wedding color.....HELP!!!

HiiS EverythiinG, on November 9, 2011 at 10:31 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 15

I'm thinking about changing my wedding colors. It was tiffany blue and Slate gray but the flowers are hard to find in a color near tiffany blue so I decided to change it... I LOVE Fuchsia and Slate Gray. My FH loves the slate gray so what ever color i change it to it has to match the gray. I tried looking up pictures of the two colors and centerpieces with the Fuchsia but its really hard anyone able to help?

I LOVE hot pink/fuchsia and grey! The last one adds a bit of purple too.

Have you thought about adding a third color like ivory or white. Thats what we are doing because my wedding colors are tiffany blue, chocolate and ivory. Our flowers are going to be ivory and my bouquet is going to be blue hydrangeaa mixed with ivory callas...we are just using tiffany blue ribbon to wrap the bouquets and for other decorations and the guys will have ivory suits with blue vest. So maybe you could find ways to incorporate the color other than in the flowers. Good Luck!

Try Amazon.com and Ebay.com, even Recycled Bride for other brides who had your colors.

Keep the blue and gray and just add some pink or white flowers.

You could always do blue hydrangeas too. or white and wrap the stems.

My colors are tiffany blue, black, and silver. My florist is adding some tiffany blue ribbon loops in my bouquet. It looks really nice.

The pink i am using is called Posie by After Six. its a pretty muted Pink so its not the "in your face" fuchsia my colors are pink black and white. So i think it would look pretty good with the gray too. I also listed a color pallet I found that i liked. It doesnt have gray in it but i think that most of the colors in it will look goot with the slate gray

The colors in the gray and pink dress is Charcoal gray and Posie Pink in After Six

I agree with Hayley. I say add another color to the mix and keep the original ones. You could keep the men in gray, the women in tiffany blue, and then use the third color for flowers and accents.

I hear you, it's a bummer!!! I also wanted to do tiffany blue and gray but it was so hard to find the flowers I wanted and the BMs dresses I wanted so I changed to pink, orange, with green accents

I love love love the slate gray and fushia. That would look great! If I were you I would still incorporate the Tiffany blue since you love it. The floweres could be fuschia.
Me and my FH are trying to pick colors out as well. I'm a huge Tiffany blue fan like you and my big dillema is deciding between the combo of Tiffany blue and Hot Pink OR Tiffany blue and Red? We will be having a Carribean wedding...any suggestions?
