Charger Alternative

Ms2MRS, on September 26, 2016 at 11:19 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 13

I have been searching for chargers at an affordable price. My guest list will be about 225 people (invites have not been mailed yet of course). Can anyone suggest a cheaper charger alternative.. The pictures below are the ones that I love

Smarty Had a Party has cheap, disposable chargers. $12.99 for a pack of 6.

The fancier ones that you have chosen will always be more expensive. If you're looking for cheap and cheerful I suggest using the plain ones. Try the dollar store or wait until around the holidays. Try the Christmas tree store too if there's on in your area

Dollar tree was an option. However, I wasn't aware that if purchased and stored that could chip Smiley sad

I rented mine from our linen company and they were $1/piece. My opinion was that I didn't want 200 pink chargers, less to bring and clean.

I love the lace doilies!! I was going to do that until I ran up on a wedding event planner that had just gotten married on a FB wedding yard sale page. I scored 180 for $90. Etsy has some (doilies) that are a cardboard version that are inexpensive too but a little sturdier than paper ones.

Or just skip it. For me it would have added tables as there wasn't enough room to have 10 ppl per table with chargers, glasses and silverware.

You can check out goodwill and other thrift stores. That's what I did brought them in any color they had hit stores for 3 days straight until I could not find anymore. I found 120 and I spray painted them gold and found the same style at my local dollar store for 1.00 . at the thrift stores I paid 0.25-0.50 per plate..
