Cheap mirrors for centerpieces

MzRosaLu, on June 30, 2015 at 7:59 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 14

Hi ladies, any recommendations for places to get affordable mirrors to place underneath our centerpieces? We are doing DIY centerpieces with wine bottles and other mismatched bottles, and we need a mirror to sort of tie everything together (see image). Any ideas? Thanks!

this is where I got mine. one was damaged when I got it, and even though I bought it in a set, got it on a Friday, and had to report any damage within 48 hours, we called and left a message and they refunded us the price of one mirror. great company

I don't know about mirrors, but if you don't find any at a good price, I suggest trying the silver chargers at the Dollar Tree. There are several shapes and sizes that might do the trick in a pinch.

If you are not too worried about them all matching, check thrift stores

I was going to suggest looking for a large bathroom mirror at like a habitat restore. My sister bought one cheap and then her hubby cut it into the desired sizes. I've also seen people lay down a picture frame with colored paper in it as the base of a centerpiece.

You could also see if there are local glass cutting shops near you that would give or sell you their scrap and then cut your own.

Try Michaels Craft Store, they have mirrors for this particular purpose. You can also find coupons every week online or extra savings

We got ours from saveoncrafts.com and orientaltrading.com. One thing to be aware of is that their shipping charges tend to be less per item if you are ordering more items. So you may want to look around at the other items they have, and order everything you want at once.

They actually have these mirrors at Walmart too, usually in the home decor area or where they sell candles. Also check Craigslist and if you have any local Facebook groups selling used wedding decor.
