I have a cute little compact mirror and was thinking about flip flops for after the ceremony in case their shoes are uncomfortable. Any more cheap ideas?

I know this topic is old, but I wanted to post for any one else out there who is planning (this is the first link that came up on google for me!). I found cute tote bags on sale at JoAnn for $14 each and each came with a free accessory like a makeup bag. I steered away from putting each girls' name on the bags since I don't personally like my name on stuff.

I am filling the tote bags with the free makeup bags and:

    - flipflops from Old Navy (2 for $5!)

    - Lush bath bombs (not tested on animals; i picked the unicorn one and the dragon's egg that is full of GLITTER)! and I will wrap each one in small box from the dollar store and tissue paper in the box to look fancy ($8 each bath bomb)

    - A small nail polish

    - Split of Champagne (small champagne bottle with a $1 glass)

    - Maybe a cute coffee mug from Target or something

    - Cookies from a local bakery in Chicago (I'll purchase the cookies 2 days before);

    - Soft pajama pants from Old Navy ($10 each)

    - Maybe a Tree Hut brand sugar scrub ... still debating whether this would pass the TSA for passengers who are flying...I assume not

    - Chocolates from local chocolate shop

    - Maybe a EOS chapstick

And all the same stuff I'd put in each out of town guest bag (water, locally brewed soda, local potato chips, EmergenC, advil, a local brewery bottle opener keychain)

All the little things make it "look" and sound like a lot of stuff and money, but it's under $50 for the contents of each bag. Just wanted to throw out some ideas for anyone else looking. Other ideas include a good book off Amazon, personalized stationary (or any kind of stationary - like little blank cards)...

If I had an unlimited budget, I'd get each girl something from Kate Spade! So many cute gift ideas there, (but out of my budget).

I didn't do a tote I did boxes from Michaels craft store when there on sale there like a dollar. Little by little for a year when I saw things like in the dollar rack I picked stuff up. Their main gift is a necklace pearl set I got from Kohl's on sale during black Friday it was $180 I got for like $50. I got them toasting flutes for mimosas a little makeup bag that I put a compact mirror nail file ChapStick a little fake pink diamond ring that lights up and a sash that says bridesmaid on it for the Bach party. mint i put in a cute little glass jar i got all at Michael's on sale. At Harmon's you can get cute things like face and foot masks little packs of a single hair treatment. Then at hobby lobby I found a little pack of tissues with their initials on it I thought were really cute. And I got them a robe in my wedding color I got really cheap on amazon. I went a little over board on getting things for my girls but there's only 5 and I love them and they do a lot for me. If you put some time into it and look around you'll find things. I'm not sure if you have any of these store where you live but I hope I helped a little. the robes from amazon are from up2date fashion they come in different colors. I'm sure they will appreciate and like anything you get.

I actually did a bridesmaid gift box. I bought card boxes at Joann fabrics for each of the girls and got pink raffia for filler. I made glitter wine glasses, customized T-shirt’s, a “bride tribe” hand sanitizer from bath and body works, a little mini bottle of champagne with a customized wine label, a ring pop, and a little mini bottle of perfume from Victoria’s Secret. The last element i incorporated was a fake lottery ticket they bridesmaid scratches off and it reveals the “will you be my bridesmaid” message.

We had a destination reception, so we made welcome bags for each room. For our wedding party, we put more liquor into their bags.

I ordered personalized tote bags on zazzle for cheap, and they are really pretty. Inside I’m putting a gift card(in a little box) to the salon we are going to for their makeup. I put flip flops, mini makeup remover sheets, mini secret deodorant, a pack of gum, emergen c effervescent ( I swear by this stuff!), collagen eye pads (for puffy eyes before makeup), and I’m also going to put a bottle of water and nature valley bars ( for in between church and venue)... if anyone has any other ideas to throw in please let me know, or if I’m going overboard please let me know! Thanks!

You could also fill your bridesmaid bags with thing they would need for an emergency kit like slippers, water bottle, ibuprofen, hair pins, nail polish etc.

I got super cute totes for my girls off of Etsy with their names on them so that they can reuse them. So far I have stuffed them with tissues, qtips, mouthwash, gum, shout wipes, a hydrating face mask, bandaids, airborne shot, emergencee packet, tums, custom hanger and robe... and I am trying to think of some more ideas to throw in there too. I wanted to do a "hangover support" kit and then some day of essentials, as well. Any other ideas???
