Cheap venue in Ma?

We are trying to put together a wedding in only a couple of months (Sep or Oct 2019) and we’re looking for a ceremony and reception venue for cheap in Massachusetts. We only have 45 guests. Ideally would like a pretty outdoor setting for a ceremony and an indoor reception. Can be basic, we just need it to be available and affordable (under $4k including food). Please help!

What about a state park somewhere? Which part of MA are you looking in?

I don't know of anywhere that would include food for that price. I'm having 65 guests and food itself is $6k. I would suggest a state, city, or private park with cake and punch reception. I know Towerhill Botanical Garden is popular, there's a lot of historical sites. I'm getting married at the Elks in Gloucester which is nice.

Maybe a ceremony at a park and the reception in a restaurant's function room ? My bridal shower will be at a restaurant in Revere in a separate function room and they often do weddings. They do not charge to use the function room, just the cost of the food and admin costs. They have a 50 person capacity so perfect size. It's worth looking into something like that if you want $4k to cover food.
