Is that the budget for your venue or the budget for your whole wedding?

10,000 is pretty hard to do for 100 people but not impossible. Try the wedding spot app or website you can plug in your budget, guest count and other factors to filter by and it will show you venues in your area that meat that criteria.

Keep in mind that if that's your overall budget and not just for the venue 100 people will be pretty hard to host properly. You may want to cut your guest list if thats your overall budget

That is not a doable budget for 100 guests, and if you think you're stressed now? Wait until you try to shoe horn everything else in, because in most cases, everything will cost more than you think.

    Cut the list. Seriously.

Not sure how far from Atlanta you want to go, but Fair Weather Farms in Monroe is beautiful and has great indoor and outdoor options, and the price is reasonable. Koury Farms in Auburn is also a great option for indoor with all prices under 2k if I remember correctly!

ETA: This is absolutely a reasonable budget for this area. Especially since your date is on a Friday! Mine is about 9k for 200 guests (also Friday), and so far we are on track. I have a great photographer, videographer, and dj in the area for great prices as well if you need suggestions Smiley smile

Costs add up over time. It is always possible to have a gorgeous wedding for less, but there is great risk of things being below par.

Cut the guest list. People will understand that you couldn't invite them due to budgetary restrictions (or they should anyway). If you invite a 100guests and are not able to take care of them properly, all your money will be done the drain.

I am sorry if I sound harsh, but cutting guest list goes a long way in helping with the budget.

Definitely cut your guest list. It will cut your stress down and make your budget work for that area.

I had a friend do hers at the atrium in norcross on a Friday for $7500 (from what she told me). There are also several venues in Cobb county that are all inclusive and budget friendly. Hope that helps!

I live in Atlanta--that budget is doable, although you'll have to sacrifice in the dress, decor and flowers departments.

Look at the Brickyard in Marietta. The rental price is low, like maybe $2k. You can bring your own alcohol and there are plenty of caterers in the area who can provide food for $20-30 pp. If you go this route, keep in mind it'd probably be best to hire a DOC to keep everything on track because the venue doesn't provide any structure or planning, so that may be an added cost of $800-1000.

Places like the Atrium and Flint Hill will get you on the open bar costs and taxes and fees, so make sure you get a complete estimate from them--they tend to leave the tax rate and admin fee out of the proposal they give you. They will provide DOC and catering and everything else you need, so do a cost comparison to see if the extra bar costs are worth it--they weren't for us.

    Good luck!!

It would be a cold day in hell when I sacrificed flowers or decor to invite crazy uncle Fred, who I haven't spoken to in 15 years.....

I was also going to suggest the brickyard in Marietta....I'm not saying your budget is impossible for 100 guests---but it is going to be tight and you are going to have to forgo top vendors in a lot of areas such as dress, pics, florals, premium open bar.....etc.

I got married at the Hazlehurst House in McDonough. I did love the venue and thought it was very well priced compared to similar venues closer to and in the city. It still ended up being about 17k for 80 guests when all was said and done after taxes and fees for the ceremony and reception...that's not including attire, hotel for family and BP, transportation, RD, etc...

The initial quote was 13k for an all inclusive package for 100 people. Once you start making any changes or upgrades, it adds up quick.

There are some venues in the Roswell and North Atlanta area that also were lower priced, but I don't recall names off hand. Save your self the heartache and skip all venue visits in the city at the popular spots like Summerour-they quoted me 30k for a Friday night event for 100 and that was with a friends and family discount and still was missing several components!

APZ yes omg Summerour is beautiful but soo expensive with their bar minimums. That rooftop bar, though!

OP, I was going to add, the further you go outside the city, the cheaper you'll get--just make sure your VIPs are cool with driving before you book since a lot of places like Canton or Newnan aren't Uber-able from the city.

Just thought about one that might be in your budget---check out vines mansion in Loganville. Some friends of ours who were on a tight budget got married there and had a very pretty but simple wedding...and they have some awesome photo spots that aren't depicted well on their website at all (their site looks pretty dated, but give it a shot) They are a BYOB venue which is nice.

I'm in the ATL area and I can confidently say you're going to have a hard time with a $10k budget and 100 guests. What part of ATL are you in/near? I could probably suggest some restaurants that MAY work-if you had a smaller guest list that would for sure increase your chances.

Are you willing to get outside of the city a bit, that budget should definitely be doable (although cutting the guest list and/or increasing the budget would help). Look into Vecoma at the Yellow River (in Snellville), Naylor Hall in Roswell, or the McDaniel-Tichenor House in Monroe.

I'm defiantly willing to go outside the city because I live in Peach tree Corners which is 30 mins away from ATL.

You can do an all-inclusive wedding at the Conservatory in acworth on a Friday or Sunday for $8500. Or if you wanted to do a Sunday morning or weeknight it would be $5750 for 100 people.

Check out vines mansion or some other locations in Gwinnett. Prices in Gwinnett seem to be cheaper than most. I am getting married at Lake Lanier for under 6k for 50 guests and it includes all but photographer and dj.
