Ashleyhottie94@Gmail.com, on November 23, 2020 at 4:21 PM Posted in Florida Planning 1 14
I am looking for a cheap wedding venues or a place to get married at I don't want to spend and arm and a leg. My budget for my whole wedding is $5,000 so I dont want to spend no more than $1,000 to$ 2,000.

Florida is big so which area are you looking at? I would say for that budget you are better off getting married in a local park or at the beach and then maybe finding a club house for the reception. Very few places will service a wedding for $5,000. There are rental spots I can recommend but would be in the Tampa Bay, Bradenton or Lakeland area or you may want to consider getting married on a day between Sunday - Thursday.

Hmmmm I would join the fbook tampa bay wedding group for ideas but there are some rustic places like knotted roots on the lake or saxon manor but while a $5,000 budget is doable I will say my friend that did a wedding in that range did a park ceremony and then a reception with publix trays at her club house. It was nice though.

Hi Ashley! How many guests are you thinking, and does that venue budget include catering??

If you have a large guest list I'd suggest hosting a cake & cocktails or appetizers & cocktails wedding during a non-mealtime to save a lot of money!

The Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes is a little far but has really affordable pricing, so you should definitely check it out! WoodStock Stables in Apopka also has a great price range, and Chapel Valley Farm in Eustis has an Intimate Weddings package for up to 25 people for $1,500. I'd also reach out to Clark Plantation Wedding and Events in Newberry and ask about their pricing!

I would suggest not cooking for liability purposes. It is affordable to cater out. If you were having a small family gathering I could see. I am not saying it is a bad idea but you would be surprised how busy you are the day before and of. I know italian, mexican, bbq and American fare is fairly affordable. A friend of mine is getting married with about a hundred people and I know she is doing a three tier cake from Sam's Club for less than $100 and she is doing party trays.

Gotcha! I think Gallery J in Winter Springs and Safari Wilderness in Lakeland will let you BYO food and they both have affordable rates!

Look into camp grounds or state or county parks a lot of them have Pavilions or building they use to host parties and they are not to bad for the fees. my budget is 7000, and i was able to find a camp grounds that gave me chairs, tables, and a building that can hold 500 people (about a $2500 value if not more) for $200, so its worth looking into it.

Your welcome I understand trust me. I've been doing the same for my in-laws the past few years so I understand not wanting to spend a lot.
