Cheap Wine Glasses or Wine Glasses in Bulk

I'm hosting a shower in October for one of my friends and I'm doing a Wine Tasting themed shower. I'm looking for about 35 wine glasses. I really would like to do glass because it looks better and I was thinking of making it as part of a favor and adding chalk paint to the bottom and including a piece of chalk with each glass. I've seen them at Dollar Tree for $1 per glass, I just don't know if I'm going to be able to find that quantity at any given dollar tree without going to multiple stores and would like to see if I can find them for a little less. It's probably not possible, but worth it to look. I'm trying to save money where I can. Anyone know where I can buy glasses in bulk for a decent price? I also need to find a bunch of champagne glasses for a friend's shower in March that I'm co-hosting with the Bride from october's shower, that's a little far off, but I want to do the DIY wine glasses while I'm on summer break.

You can order in bulk from dollartree.com idk anywhere else where they are that cheap. Have you checked Amazon?

If you use the 20% coupons BB&B are always giving out, these will be around $1,50 each (depending on sales tax in your area). BB&B coupons don't expire so save up three and bring two other people to go buy them. They have champagne glasses for the same price.

I didn't see any in my quick search, but keep trying. I just wanted to mention that you can speak to the Dollar Tree manager and say you need 35 and they can ship them to their store for no extra charge. I don't know if you have to pay for their cases or can do an odd amount. They have a website, so check out how many are in a case. Usually it's 24-30, but that's other things I've looked at in the past.

Ikea, these are 79 cents. Have to get them in store, so hope you are lucky enough to have an Ikea in your area

Yep they are glass. They also have white wine and champagne glasses for the same price. LOVE Ikea!

Ikea wine glasses are great. They tend to break pretty easy though, but for the price they beat the Dollar Tree definitely.

If you don't care about them matching you could go to a new uses or other second hand store.

I second IKEA, or order online from Dollar Tree. Another thought is see if you have a restaurant supply store near you. There are lots that are open to the public and they're great for bulk buys like glasses. Good luck!

Thank Yall! I will checkout ikea. I don't really care about the quality. It's just for them to taste wine and take with them as part of a favor.

You can buy the dozen at Walmart for about $9.97 check online if the store near you carries them and maybe call to see how many they have in stock.

I used wine glasses as centerpieces on my tables. I bought 54 glasses between 2 different thrift stores and paid 25 cents per glass! If you don't care if the all match this may be something to check into! For us the best part is we can donate them all back as a tax write off now that our wedding is done so we don't have them all sitting around.
