CHEAPEST SAVE THE DATE CARDS?

Katie, on April 2, 2017 at 8:19 PM

Hi all, Looking for suggestions on where we should order our save the date cards! We want to send cards, but I'm seeing about $1.15 a card, which is kind of expensive (in my opinion)! Any suggestions on save the date cards that are bit more affordable? Thanks :-)

We did email STDs via Paperless Post. Cost us about 20 or 30 cents per "card".

I printed out pictures at Wal-Mart and used them as out save the dates. I probably spent less than $30. The pictures were 4x4 I punch a whole on the top to of both pictures and added a ribbon to combine both pictures.

I was able to snag a 75% off deal on Snapfish on Cyber Monday last year! If you have time to wait, sites like Snapfish, Shutterfly, and Vistaprint frequently have really good sales.

If you can wait a little bit, I ordered mine from Snapfish at 75% off in September last year. It was around $30 for 80 cards.

For your invitations, wait for Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales!

We spent $40 total: 100 STD color postcards with envelopes from Staples online, and all those stamps.

I'm not sure what base pricing is but BasicInvite.com is also an option for printing paper goods like save the dates and invites. If you use my name as a code ( rachellangerhans ) you can save 30% and get free shipping. Might be worth looking at Smiley smile

Team vistaprint. They have 50% off sales on like a monthly basis. We used the chrome plug-in honey which found us a 50% off coupon code. Got our invites through them as well!

Jumping off of Rachel, I got mine from Basic Invite and they were a really great quality. (I won mine though so no info on pricing).

Just an FYI, I'm sure you know, but you don't need one per person, just per couple / household (if inviting families with kids). I know some folks on here mentioning that they mistakenly bought one for every single guest and could have saved money not ordering so many extra!

I plan on getting mine from magnet street. They send you a free sample kit of everything and I wanted magnets. Plus they have sales like the other sites also.

Also check your local camera/print shop! I have seen photo card save the dates for as low as $0.40 per card at those places.
