After watching Cheapest Weddings on Netflix I'm feeling so much better about my own wedding. So many notes of what not to do. What are you all doing to keep costs down?

Just finished the entire series yesterday! Wow. Just wow. The one with the pin up model and her many outfits and the BYOB....I'm speechless! LOL! And then - the one in the Australian bush - beautiful set up - until the power went out - and then there's the fire!! OMG!!!!

I just started watching this and yes! I feel so much better. I am doing my own centerpieces though. But I'm confident they'll look amazing!

We are doing the reception and ceremony at the same place. It's all inclusive. Instead of having an open bar we are doing a cash bar but having 4 batches made for the cocktail hour (400 drinks). Today I actually found out centerpieces for $3 and $4!! Not a planned spend today but I am excited that we found them and they are cheap. I got my bridesmaid gifts for 75% off!! I got all 4 of their necklaces for $30!! We are skipping the favors, but if we decide to do them then it would be simple, Hershey kisses in a bag.

We got our venue, all inclusive, under 8k. Food, officiant, DJ, photographer, videographer, cake, all bouquets including the tossable, boutonnieres, a night in a cottage, flower girl bakery, CV ring bearer pillow, both ceremony and reception. We are supplying alcohol (beer, wine, sparkling wine) and centerpieces. And it's beautiful! Hearts home farm in Hemet, can.

Totally agree!! I watched the first episode and already felt SO much better. I can't imagine nor find a place to cater as cheap as some people has found OR hire family. Plus having the bare minimum is not appealing to me. Defiantly has some good ideas though and made me rethink some DIY plans lol
