How are you having your guests RSVP. my invitations won't be all fancy because it's no room in the budget for it so I was thinking of setting up a email account from Yahoo.com with our names and tell people to send us an email. Is this tacky?

My people aren't big on etiquette as long as they get an invite they're more than happy to come. Some don't use the internet and the others probably won't return the card, stamp or not. I don't know how I'll do this! Ugh

My FSIL hand delivered some of her wedding invitations to family members, and they filled out their RSVP cards and handed them right back Smiley smile

If you are having a function where everyone there is invited to the wedding (like a 4th of July party?) it could be cute to give them out.

Well if your RSVP cards are standard postcard size you can get stamps for $.35 a piece. If you send out 100 invites that is only $35.00 total. I honestly don't think that is outrageous. As far as the email address goes I have been invited to one wedding where they did create a new account just for RSVP's, I had no problem sending in my response but I guess it just depends on your crowd and if majority of them our email/tech savvy!
