Chicago Event Painter and Dance Floor Recommendations please!

I paint, but I've never done a Live Event painting.... I would be good at making a drawing (or painting) off of a photo you like if something like that would be of interest.

I've seen a wedding episode with a painter, and it does look like something that would be amazing to watch in person.

Hi, I am an artist and have had requests to paint at live events. have you thought about what type of painting you are looking for? That might help you to have an idea. Some artists might paint you a single painting of perhaps the wedding party or a scene at the reception. My work would be more of several loose watercolors as the day unfolds.

Might be worth browsing some wedding planner websites. I found a couple of artists that way. I know a lot of places will do First Fridays - talk with the various artists there and see if you can get a recommendation.

I love the concept of the painting, but make sure you love the finished products they show as samples. A lot of them are really amateurish.

I like the caricaturist idea!
