Chicagoland Bridal portraits

Has anyone in the Chicagoland area done a bridal shoot? I know it's more of a southern tradition, but I kind of like the idea. But since it's not really a thing in the northern states, I was wondering if anyone has done one and what their experience was like? I've never felt as pretty as I do in my dress, and I want our wedding day to be about FH and I. I don't wanna be worried about making sure our photographer is getting pictures of me and my dress on our day. And plus, I like the idea of seeing the whole look brought together before the big day, that way I'll really be sure if i wanna change anything. Thoughts?
